Akkodis is seeking a Databricks Data Scientist for a Contract with a client in Indianapolis, IN. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience building and deploying ML pipelines while enabling self-service analytics and optimizing data models for business decision-making.
Rate Range: $37/Hour to $45/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Databricks Data Scientist Job Responsibilities include:
Design, build, and deploy machine learning models and end-to-end ML pipelines using Databricks and Spark.
Optimize data processing and analytics workflows within the Databricks Lakehouse for performance and scalability.
Enable self-service analytics by configuring Databricks Genie and creating business-friendly semantic data layers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.
Ensure data quality, governance, and security while delivering actionable insights to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
4-6 years of experience in data science or advanced analytics.
Strong hands-on expertise in Databricks, Apache Spark, and building production-grade machine learning models using Python.
Proven ability to design and deploy ML pipelines, enable self-service analytics (Genie), and deliver scalable data-driven solutions.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $45.00 per hour
