Role : Databricks Architect

Location : Warren, NJ (Hybrid)

Rate: $70/hr to $75/hr

We are seeking an experienced Databricks Architect to design and deliver scalable, secure data and AI platforms on the Databricks Lakehouse. The role will define target architecture, establish engineering standards, and guide implementation of data ingestion, transformation, governance, performance optimization, and production operations. The architect will partner with client stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, security teams, and vendors to translate business needs into robust technical solutions. Key responsibilities include solution design, technology evaluation, architecture reviews, reusable frameworks, cost optimization, CI/CD, monitoring, and technical mentoring. The ideal candidate has 12–15 years of experience, strong Databricks and cloud architecture expertise, knowledge of Spark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, SQL and Python, and excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills. Exposure to GenAI solution patterns and enterprise architecture principles is preferred.
