    Database Infrastructure Engineer

    Core Responsibilities

    Infrastructure & Cloud Management

    • Design, configure, provision, and manage enterprise environments, focusing heavily on Azure Cloud services and Windows Servers.

    • Ensure strict adherence to data governance and state data privacy regulations while securely managing user access and permissions.

    • Support application development and data integration through environment configuration, IIS administration, and the implementation of security best practices.

    Database Optimization & Performance

    • Proactively monitor system performance, rapidly identify bottlenecks, optimize complex queries, and manage indexing strategies.

    • Design, implement, and monitor automated database jobs, routine maintenance tasks, and ETL workflows.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues, performing reliably under pressure during critical production incidents.

    Automation, High Availability & Support

    • Write and maintain robust automation scripts (utilizing PowerShell and SSIS) for deployments, backups, health checks, and routine DBA tasks.

    • Develop, maintain, and rigorously test Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies and failover protocols to ensure High Availability (HA) across the environment.

    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional IT teams to align on architecture and performance goals.

    • Provide 24/7 on-call support for mission-critical systems as needed.

    Qualifications & Skills

    Required Experience & Education

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.

    • 7+ Years: Proven expertise managing enterprise systems, specifically MS SQL Server, Windows Server, and Azure Cloud environments.

    • 7+ Years: Advanced proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, SSIS) for infrastructure and database automation.

    • 7+ Years: Deep understanding of foundational infrastructure concepts, including storage systems, network architecture, and cloud ecosystems.

    • 7+ Years: Hands-on experience utilizing the Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power BI Services, Power Automate).

    • 7+ Years: Familiarity integrating with CI/CD pipelines, modern DevOps processes, and .NET applications.

    • Troubleshooting: Exceptional problem-solving skills with a track record of resolving critical production incidents.

    Required Certifications (Candidate MUST upload proof of certification)

    • Active certification in relevant database technologies is strictly required, including:

      • Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate

      • Microsoft SQL Server Certification
