Position Responsibilities:

Design and implement complex data structures for applications and business intelligence analytics using Amazon Redshift, RDS for PostgreSQL, and MySQL while gathering business requirements to create scalable solutions within the established data architecture. Participate in the full development lifecycle from design to maintenance, produce comprehensive documentation, and evaluate dataset implementations and software tools. Analyze source data systems, establish best practices, and mentor other database engineers while supporting ongoing database operations. Review Data architecture and modeling for large organizations. Act as a Redshift Subject Matter Expert providing expertise to all AWS customers on behalf of AWS.

Position Requirements:

Master"s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor"s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Master"s degree and one year of experience. Must have one year of experience in the following skills: (1) Data warehousing; (2) Analytics; (3) ETL; (4) Python; (5) AWS Cloud; (6) Linux; (7) Networking; (8) Databases; (9) Business Intelligence; and (10) Big Data.
