Database Engineer

Deep knowledge of various Database Management Systems (DBMS) such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, and Redshift. - Proven experience as a Database Engineer or Database Administrator (DBA).

Job Summary (List Format):

- Strong understanding of AWS and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for database resources
- Proven experience as a Database Engineer or Database Administrator (DBA)
- Deep knowledge of various Database Management Systems (DBMS) such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, and Redshift
- Proficient in SQL and experienced in query optimization
- Solid grasp of data modeling, normalization, and schema design principles
- Hands-on experience with database performance tuning and monitoring
- Familiarity with backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures
- Knowledge of database security best practices
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Nice to Have:
- Understanding of AWS networking fundamentals
- Experience with Terraform Cloud and Infrastructure as Code workflows
- Automation/scripting skills using Python or Shell
- Experience with CI/CD for databases (e.g., Bamboo, Flyway, or similar tools)
