Database Analyst

BIICS, Inc is looking to fill a Database Analystposition. The position is located in Ocoee, Florida and work is on-site.

Database Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Responsible forcreating, managing and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs)/Metrics.
• Supports theoverall functions of the Roadside Toll Systems Team by performing reportgeneration, creation of new alerts, database migrations, vendor builddeployments, hardware replacements, SQL distributor maintenance, and roadsidereplication support.
• Works withmonitoring operation center and other SLAM team members to oversee and monitorthird party patching, deep-dive data analysis, Power BI report development andworks with other teams to support databases across multiple platforms andcomputing environments.
• Analyzes datarequirements, application and processing architectures, data dictionaries, anddatabase schema(s), and then designs, develops, amends, and optimizes to meetsystem(s) requirements.
• Gathers,analyzes, and normalizes relevant information related to business processes,functions, and operations to evaluate data credibility and determine relevanceand meaning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’sDegree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Orequivalent work experience.
• 5 years of ITwork experience in DBA, SQL Procedural code and design, and relevant computingenvironments.
• Must beversatile in Oracle Procedural Language (PL-SQL) and Microsoft SQL(Transact-SQL).
