Description
Seeking a Database Administrator (DBA) to support and maintain Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle database environments. This role is responsible for database performance, availability, security, backup and recovery, production support, and ensuring the stability of critical banking applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, monitor, and tune SQL Server (2019/2022) and Oracle 19c databases.
- Manage database backups, recovery, replication, patching, upgrades, and disaster recovery testing.
- Support database deployments, change management, and production incidents.
- Design databases, develop stored procedures, and maintain security and access controls.
- Participate in on-call production support and troubleshoot database performance issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of SQL Server and Oracle DBA experience.
- Experience with Windows, Linux/UNIX, SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL, and PowerShell or other scripting languages.
- Knowledge of database monitoring, replication, backup/recovery, and production support within enterprise environments.
