Dhaka Technologies Limited Company (DTLC) is hiring a Database Administrator (Vertica/Sybase) on behalf of its client Bank of America for a hybrid position in Jersey City, NJ (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).
Job Description
- Database Administrator (Vertica Sybase) - 5-7 Years Experience
- Experienced Database Administrator with 5-7 years of expertise in Vertica, Sybase ASE, and Sybase IQ database environments.
- Responsible for database installation, configuration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, security administration, high availability, replication, and production support.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, Linux/Unix, database monitoring, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery processes.
- Experience supporting mission-critical applications, optimizing database performance, managing upgrades and migrations, and collaborating with application and infrastructure teams to ensure database reliability, scalability, and compliance.
- Exposure to automation, scripting, and modernization initiatives is preferred.
- SQL, Foglight, RDBMS knowledge
- Scripting, SQL and knowledge of ServiceNow. AI
