Database Administrator - Tallahassee, FL

Scope of Services:
Seeking for a Database Administrator to ensure our data architectures meet departmental standards. You'll assist in designing, developing, and optimizing database schemas across multiple platforms, supporting our overall data architecture needs.
Experience:
- 12 years of database administration experience with DB2 for z/OS, SQL Server 2008R2, 2012, Oracle 10g and above
- FDOT database infrastructure and application knowledge is a plus
Primary Job Duties/Tasks:
- Daily database administration activities
- Plan, design, and implement database structures
- Conduct database performance monitoring and tuning
- Maintain database administration procedures and documentation
- Perform SQL Code reviews
- Assist with training/mentoring technical staff
Job Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
- Advanced knowledge of DB2 for z/OS, JCL, and z/OS integrated platform
- In depth knowledge of CA GEN, ISPF, ASG Scheduler, COBOL
- Solid working knowledge of z/OS started task management, IBI z/OS, AFOPER commands, RACF, CICS, IOF
- Solid working knowledge of Oracle and MSSQL application integration
- Working knowledge of Windows Servers, SSMS, SSRS, SSIS, Azure
