Description

Requirements

8 or more years of experience in SQL Server database administration and enterprise data architecture.
Proficiency in complex T-SQL programming and configuring Azure SQL Managed Instances.
Experience with designing relational data models, executing backup strategies, and advanced performance tuning.
Experience in developing enterprise reporting solutions utilizing SSRS and Azure Power BI.
Experience with managing Azure Database for PostgreSQL and optimizing cloud resource utilization costs.
Experience in utilizing Azure DevOps, Visual Studio .NET, and producing comprehensive technical documentation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to report project progress to executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Administer and optimize mission-critical production and non-production databases to support enterprise modernization initiatives.
Execute complex cloud database migrations while ensuring strict adherence to data security and access standards.
Perform advanced database troubleshooting and query optimization to support high-volume transactional workloads.
Maintain and update associated web application portals utilizing .NET integrations to ensure seamless end-user access.
Develop robust technical contingency plans to eliminate architectural obstacles and optimize overall system performance.
Review technical design plans and testing documents to ensure deliverables meet stringent operational requirements.
Generate detailed monthly status reports and facilitate cross-functional alignment calls with key program stakeholders.
