Responsibilities:
- As a Database Administrator you will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining databases
- Your daily activities will include installing database management systems developing procedures for routine maintenance and resolving database related issues
- You are expected to be a subject matter expert collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively take responsibility for team decisions engage with multiple teams contribute to key decisions and provide solutions to problems within your immediate team and across multiple teams
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft SQL Database is required
- Advanced proficiency in Database Management Database Optimization Tuning Database Performance Management and Database Activity Monitoring is suggested
- Develop and enforce database policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and security
- Analyze database performance metrics and implement improvements to optimize system efficiency
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to support database related requirements and troubleshoot issues
- Lead efforts to automate routine database maintenance tasks to enhance operational efficiency
- Stay informed about emerging database technologies and recommend their adoption to improve current systems
