Job Description

We are seeking a Database Administrator III to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in MS SQL Server administration, performance tuning, and high availability and a proven ability to design, implement, and optimize complex database solutions while leading initiatives to operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement complex SQL Server database solutions leveraging new technologies.
• Serve as the team's subject matter expert for MS SQL Server, AlwaysOn, and performance tuning.
• Lead and manage multiple moderately complex projects and special initiatives with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive process improvements to achieve operational excellence.
• Perform in-depth analysis of data and environments to select appropriate methods and techniques for solutions.
• Provide work leadership by assigning tasks and resolving technical problems as needed.
• Automate operational tasks, monitoring, and maintenance activities, including for TigerGraph environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of hands-on MS SQL Server Administration in large, high-tier environments.
• Expertise in AlwaysOn high availability, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Proven delivery in project-driven environments with minimal supervision and strong ownership.
• Prior banking industry experience, preferably as an Application DBA.
• Proficiency with Linux administration and scripting (Shell, Python).
• Experience automating operations, monitoring, and maintenance for TigerGraph (NoSQL) environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound judgment within defined practices and policies.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with hybrid work environments requiring a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.
• Familiarity with enterprise monitoring, automation frameworks, and SDLC in regulated environments.
