Primary Location: Madison, WI
 
 
V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring a DataWarehouse Developer II for our premier client Madison, WI.
 
 

Education and Experience:
 

• Experience in migration of assets from Informatica PowerCenter to IDMC, including testing, validation, and performance tuning (2+ years)
• Data Warehouse – experience in data warehouse design and development            4+ years
• Data Warehouse - Experience in requirements gathering for data warehouse         4+ years
• Data Warehouse - Performance tuning    4+ years
• Informatica PowerCenter              4+ years
• DB2        2 years
• SQL Server          
• Knowledge of Kimball data warehouse design principals  2+ years
• Ability to navigate and query a relational database (Oracle) to develop reports      3+ years
• Respond to customer requests (verbally and in writing) *                3+ years
• Develop Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test Procedures          3+ years

 
 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities »
 

• Moderate experience in data warehousing process design, development, performance & tuning using the Informatica data warehousing tool suite – both IDMC and PowerCenter (4+ years)
• Developing skills in the architecture of data warehouse and data integration strategies and solutions
• Knowledge in relational database technologies, e.g. Oracle, DB2, SQL Server and strong data management and data analysis using SQL (3+ years)
