Work Setting: This job is to be performed onsite Monday-Friday, during business hours. Flexibility for occasional remote work for specific reasons is at the discretion of the hiring manager.
Required:
- IT work experience utilizing data management tools, business intelligence tools, and data warehousing (7+ years).
- Data Integration and Data Warehousing experience with Informatica IDMC tools (IDMC tools like IDMC CDI, MI, CAI, etc.) (7+ years).
- Experience with Data Integration tasks like extraction, transformation, and load (ETL or ELT).
- Experience designing, developing, and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) and Informatica on-prem solutions (4+ years).
- Experience with data warehouse and data mart concepts..
- Experience with model transactional data for data warehousing..
- Experience administering IDMC platform, Secure Agent Infrastructure and Snowflake Data Cloud platform for statewide adoption.
- Experience in relational database platforms including DB2, SQL Server, Snowflake and Oracle.
- Experience with Redhat Linux application administration like security patching applications, managing disk filesystems, managing wrapper and auto-startup scripts.
- Experience with IDMC Connectors to perform Change Data Capture solutions like PowerExchange and other widely used connectors like relational, ServiceNow, etc..
- Experience with IBM Mainframes COBOL, JCL, and DB2 analysis.
- Experience designing data models for Business Intelligence tools like Power BI, Tableau and Cognos and other reporting tools.
- Experience with Informatica on-premises products like PowerCenter and Data Quality
- Experience with Informatica Data Catalog functionality.
- Experience with Informatica IDMC Cloud Performance Tuning
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Prototypes, builds and tests Power BI and Cognos reports/dashboards.
- Ensures data warehouse metadata is collected and maintained.
- Analyzes transactional data stores and develops data warehouse models to optimize the warehouse for reporting and analytics.
- Assists with the development and maintenance of methods and practices documentation.
