    Job Overview

    The role's primary duty is professional analysis and decision making related to data quality, standards application, and risk mitigation. The Data Steward independently evaluates data issues, determines appropriate responses, and advises stakeholders. The role is not task based, volume driven, or procedural in nature.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Analysis, interpretation, and professional judgment
    • Advisory support and stakeholder engagement
    • Data quality and impact assessment
    • Standards refinement and continuous improvement
    • Other duties as assigned

    Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

    • Demonstrated experience applying data standards, analysis, or governance concepts
    • Proven ability to exercise discretion and professional judgment independently
    • Analytical reasoning and critical thinking
    • Interpretation of standards and policies
    • Professional communication and advisory capability

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Two years of education beyond high school in college or technical school
    • One to up to three years relevant work experience

    Preferred Qualifications

    Bachelors degree
