Perform district-wide student and staff-related information processing, including student registration, enrollment and, attendance (SIMS), staff reporting (EPIMS), and school, district, and state reporting, (MCAS, Cedar Labs, etc.). Provide Help Desk support for all district databases.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1) Ensure data integrity by complying with district and state data dictionary standards and performing routine data verification activities 2) Maintain a trail of all work completed. 3) Export/Import data from electronic systems such as student data systems, staff data systems, MCAS reporting tools, Special Education data systems, state systems, school-to-parent communication systems, assessment systems, financial accounting systems, etc. Verify the accuracy of each export/import. 4) Electronic submission of state-related data, including student roster, student attendance, SIMS, EPIMS, SSDR, AYP, MCAS, and ESE user role administration. 5)Research and resolve errors pertaining to student and staff data in various applications. 6) Participate in group and one-on-one training, and develop help guides and documentation. 7) Participate in setup, completion, and implementation of District policy and procedures related to data entry to optimize data integrity. 8)Maintain Software and Technology System Access Inventories & Procurement Records 9) Maintain System Software Data Integration Systems and Syncs 10) Assist with state and district digital assessment supports and data integrations 11) Respond to technology support requests on the web-based ticketing system. 12) Help maintain an inventory of all IT assets, including hardware, software, peripherals, etc. 13) Occasionally assist employees with technology needs in both formal and informal settings(classrooms and event support) (group workshops or short courses, one-on-one consultation) at a variety of ability and familiarity levels. 14) Other related duties as assigned.

Capability To: 1) Efficiently maintain software applications such as; student information system (ie. Power School), student health information system (Snap), special education student data system (ESped/ Power School Special Programs), staff information systems, school-to-parent communication system (Catapult), MCAS reporting system, Faculty and student testing analysis systems, etc. 2) Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets spreadsheets and Microsoft Access to include exports, imports, text data, filtering, sorting, matching, and reporting. 3) Create and maintain databases that are accurate and timely. 4) Problem-solve and research complex problems, where multiple sources are referenced for resolution. 5) Assume other responsibilities as directed by the Director of Educational Technology and Digital
