The Data Solutions Engineer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise data solutions that support reporting, analytics, and business operations. This role focuses on building and supporting data pipelines, transforming and integrating data within Databricks, and creating trusted, business-ready datasets for consumption across the organization.
A key responsibility is preparing and validating data from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (D365 F&SCM), Infor LN, and other enterprise systems. The role collaborates closely with Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable data solutions on Microsoft Azure and related enterprise platform
Essential Functions
Data Pipeline Development
Design, build, and maintain data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and delivery.
Automate workflows to ensure efficiency and reliability.
Data Transformation & Integration
Develop and enhance Bronze, Silver, and Gold layer datasets to support business and analytical requirements.
Integrate data from ERP and other enterprise systems into enterprise data platforms.
Create and maintain data transformations, joins, calculations, and business logic to support downstream consumption.
Support deployment of new data assets, enhancements, and data products.
Data Validation & Quality
Validate, reconcile, and troubleshoot data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Investigate data quality issues and collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Support data governance standards through adherence to established data quality, security, and documentation practices.
Data Modeling
Create and maintain logical and physical data models.
Ensure compliance with data quality, security, and governance standards.
Collaboration
Work closely with BI teams, data analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights.
Continuous Improvement
Stay current on emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering and architecture.

The pay range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $95,000 and $120,000 annually. The range is an estimate based on potential employee qualification operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
