Description
Position Title: Data Scientist
Location: Remote (Virginia, US)
Clearance Requirements: Active Top Secret Clearance
Pay Rate: $90.00/hr. on W2
Position Description:
Join a mission-critical team as a Data Scientist supporting federal risk decision-making in a highly trusted environment. As a key contributor, you'll develop and validate advanced predictive and prescriptive models on cutting-edge AI platforms. Your work will involve building risk scores, anomaly detection systems, and optimization models, ensuring they are thoroughly calibrated, explainable, and compliant with government standards. You'll package results for deployment, document your assumptions, and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver impactful insights. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to national security initiatives with potential for extension or transition to a permanent role.
Top Requirements:
- Top Secret clearance with active T5/SSBI adjudication
- Extensive experience with Databricks, Python, SQL, Spark
- Proven ability to develop risk models, anomaly detection, and optimization solutions using federal data standards
