We are partnering with a growing organization in the Columbus area to identify a detail-oriented Data & Reporting Specialist for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role will support critical data validation, reporting, and analytics initiatives while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of operational data. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and has strong technical and data management skills.
This position is fully onsite in the Columbus area and offers the opportunity to transition to a permanent role based on performance and business needs.
Responsibilities
Analyze, validate, and maintain operational data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity across multiple systems
Investigate data discrepancies, perform reconciliations, and resolve issues impacting reporting and business operations
Support month-end reporting processes and ensure timely completion of data validation and closing activities
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI and Tableau
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot data issues and identify opportunities for process improvements
Monitor data quality, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support business decisions
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Finance, Analytics, or a related field preferred
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, vlookups and data analysis functions
Experience working with SQL and large datasets
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
Pay Details: $34.00 to $38.00 per hour
