Data Quality Architect Contractor: 6-9 years (Advanced)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Data Quality Architect Contractor to join our client's team in Raleigh. In this role, you will contribute to conducting data profiling and quality assessments, defining new data quality rules, and monitoring post-implementation data quality trends.

Responsibilities

• Conduct data profiling and quality assessments across source systems to identify gaps, duplicates, and inconsistencies in party records.
• Define and document new data quality rules, thresholds, and KPIs for party master data attributes within the MDM hub.
• Own the roadmap for data cleansing, standardization, and enrichment routines for party data migration into the UMDM.
• Monitor post-implementation data quality trends and prioritize corrective actions for continuous improvement.
• Support end-user adoption of DQ processes and the MDM platform by developing training materials and conducting workshops.
• Design and implement data quality scorecards and dashboards to track MDM health metrics on an ongoing basis.
• Capture pain points from business stakeholders actively using MDM data and convert them into enhancement requests.
• Establish data stewardship workflows and escalation procedures within the MDM platform for resolving data quality exceptions.
• Lead discussions with the business to elicit and document data requirements and MDM business scenarios.
• Own the creation of UAT test cases covering both DQ rule validation and MDM functional scenarios.
• Oversee execution of UAT test cases across DQ and MDM functionality, document testing evidence, and log defects in Jira.

Requirements

• 6-9 years of experience in data quality management and MDM.
• Proficiency in defining data quality rules and conducting data profiling.
• Experience with MDM platforms and data stewardship workflows.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Jira for defect logging and tracking.
• Familiarity with data quality scorecards and dashboard design.
