MANTECH is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Data Quality and Governance Analyst to join our team. The position is remote with the possibility of occasional client site travel that will differ from engagement to engagement but is expected to be 10% or less.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Governance Framework: Support the operationalization of the governance framework and council to enable alignment with strategic objectives, formalizing best practices for the lifecycle of data, analytics, and AI.
  • Strategic Working Groups: Establish and facilitate cross-functional working groups to drive council objectives, including access controls, data privacy, procedure development, and training.
  • Standards and Procedures: Design, implement, and maintain data standards and operating procedures to enable consistency across the organization.
  • Data Stewardship Program: Support the development and administration of an enterprise data stewardship program, enabling domain experts to actively manage data quality within their respective business areas and data assets.
  • Data Quality Management: Develop and implement data quality frameworks; monitor data quality and partner with business units to resolve data quality issues.
  • Education and Literacy: Design, develop, and administer a data literacy curriculum and specialized training courses to elevate the organization's data competencies.
  • AI/ML Capability Coaching: Support the development of a tailored coaching framework for assigned Government teams, coordinating targeted enablement programs in AI/ML and data pipeline development to build internal technical proficiency.
  • Systems and Tooling: Design, develop, and administer data governance tools, including automations to streamline existing functionalities, data cataloging, and data quality tools.
  • Performance Monitoring: Define and track KPIs to measure program effectiveness; establish automated dashboards to report on data health and improvement trends.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 4+ years of experience supporting data governance activities, such as data stewardship, data catalog, data quality, data standards, training
  • 3+ years of experience working with data and/or governance tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working for a public sector customer or in the public sector
  • Data management certification (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional)
  • Experience working with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) Analyst tool and/or SQL
  • Experience with change management techniques
  • Experience with training development
  • Experience working within an AWS environment
  • Experience with Department of Defense clients

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Must possess US citizenship and a current Secret level clearance or higher

Physical Requirements:

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.

The projected compensation range for this position is $94,800.00-$157,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
