Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Data Platforms Automation Engineer with strong Python scripting and automation experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing automation scripts, supporting CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting existing utilities, and improving operational efficiency across data platform environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain clean, efficient Python scripts to automate repetitive tasks, data processing, and system monitoring.

• Integrate automation tools into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.

• Debug and troubleshoot existing scripts, handle errors effectively, and optimize automation utilities for performance and scalability.

• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support process improvements and system integrations.

• Maintain reliable and reusable automation solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Good proficiency in Python programming and standard libraries, including:

  • OS

  • SYS

  • Requests

  • UnitTest or Pytest

• Familiarity with Git and version control practices.

• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.

• Experience or familiarity with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.

• Basic working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Understanding of RESTful APIs and system integration.

• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and collaboration skills.
