Job Summary (List Format) Data Network Telecom Specialist
- Contract-to-hire, 100% onsite position located in Phoenix, AZ (local candidates only)
- Candidates must be available for in-person interviews and able to start within 2 weeks of offer

- Four (4) years of experience as a Cable Technician installing and maintaining digital computer/telecom systems OR two (2) years as a Lead Cable Technician
- Education or technical training in electronics/telecommunications/digital systems may substitute for one year of required experience
- Responsible for scheduling and coordinating services (repairs, installations, equipment removal, preventative maintenance) with contractors, vendors, and supported agencies
- Manages and completes new, upgrade, and repair projects for network equipment and sites, including supervising contractor/vendor resources
- Installs, removes, modifies, maintains, repairs, and inventories various communications and electronic equipment (e.g., routers, switches, video equipment, printers, security systems)
- Installs, repairs, splices, tests, and terminates telecom and electrical wiring/cabling (copper, fiber, coax) to ensure proper connections and performance
- Works with Department of Public Safety (DPS), supported governmental agencies, vendors, and contractors
