Location: Philadelphia, PA (On-site 3 days/week)
We are seeking a consultant with strong data modeling, analytics, and requirements gathering experience to support a large-scale data center expansion initiative. This role will work directly with stakeholders to collect facility data from multiple sources, standardize and validate the information, and consolidate it into a centralized repository that will serve as the single source of truth for planning and analysis.
The consultant will also help analyze and rank facilities based on business-defined criteria and build reporting and dashboard solutions to support decision-making.
Responsibilities:- Gather requirements from business stakeholders and multiple client teams.
- Collect, cleanse, standardize, and consolidate facility data from disparate sources.
- Design and maintain a centralized data model/repository for facility information.
- Perform data analysis and ranking of facilities based on established criteria.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations.
- Support ongoing data quality and governance efforts.
Requirements:- Experience with data modeling, data analysis, and data consolidation initiatives.
- Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder management skills.
- ETL/ELT experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, formulas, and macros.
- Experience building dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar BI tools.
- Prior management consulting experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with a large management consulting firm or similar consulting environment.
- Telecommunications, cable, media, or technology industry experience.
