Data Migration Engineer - Senior

Responsibilities: for the Data Migration Engineer Senior include: Lead the design, development, optimization, and operation of ETL/ELT pipelines supporting large-scale and multi-source data migration efforts. Perform advanced data extraction, transformation, cleansing, governance, mapping, and validation for structured and unstructured datasets. Conduct data quality assessments, integrity analysis, anomaly detection, and remediation activities to ensure migration accuracy and completeness. Collaborate with Cloud Engineers, Data Engineers, DevSecOps teams, QA engineers, Product Owners, and Scrum teams to support migration readiness and integration efforts. Mentor mid-level engineers, develop migration best practices, maintain technical documentation, and identify risks impacting migration success. Required Qualifications for the Data Migration Engineer Senior include: 8+ years of experience supporting data migration, ETL/ELT development, data engineering, or large-scale data modernization initiatives. Experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines, data transformation frameworks, data mapping, data validation, and automation solutions. Strong expertise with structured and unstructured data, cloud migration methodologies, troubleshooting, and high-volume data operations. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related technical field. Active Top Secret Security Clearance Qualifications: for the Data Migration Engineer Senior include: 8+ years of experience supporting data migration, ETL/ELT development, data engineering, or large-scale data modernization initiatives.
