JSG is looking for a highly skilled, detail-driven
Data Migration Engineer to join our
clients America Professional Services team and help hospitals securely move critical clinical data from legacy systems into
HealthStore, our Clinical Data Repository. In this role, youll lead the hands-on work of
analyzing, extracting, transforming, validating, and migrating complex healthcare datasetspartnering closely with customer stakeholders, internal delivery teams, and technical partners to ensure migrations are accurate, compliant, and successful. Pay $60/hour
Required Skills- 10+ years of experience in healthcare data migration, including extraction, transformation, and validation
- Experience migrating data from healthcare applications such as EHR/EPR, PAS, LIMS, RIS, PACS, and other clinical systems
- Strong knowledge of healthcare data formats/standards such as FHIR, HL7, DICOM, CDA, CCD
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale healthcare data migration projects
- Advanced SQL skills for querying and manipulating very large datasets
- Experience with scripting/automation for extraction and transformation tasks
- Strong data migration fundamentals: data profiling, quality assessment, data mapping, transformation, and post-migration validation
Nice to Have Skills- C#
- SSIS/SSDT
- Experience with migration/integration tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS
- Patient data registry experience
- Hands-on experience utilizing AI solutions and operationalizing them across workflows
- MEDITECH experience (especially NPR data, report writing, and clinical workflows)
- Familiarity with healthcare vocabularies/standards such as SNOMED and ICD-10
Preferred Education and Experience- Preferred: Extensive professional experience (aligned to the roles senior scope), including 10+ years in healthcare-focused data migration and enterprise project delivery
