    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a Data Management Specialist to support and maintain our Autodesk Vault data infrastructure, ensuring optimal file management and version control across engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of engineering data systems and possess hands-on experience with AutoCAD and Autodesk Vault. This role will serve as the liaison between the Vault database team and Civil 3D subject matter experts.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Serve as primary liaison between Autodesk Vault database administration and Civil 3D subject matter experts

    • Troubleshoot and resolve Vault-related issues (e.g., file check-in/check-out errors, version conflicts)

    • Manage and maintain the Autodesk Vault environment, including user accounts, roles, and permissions

    • Develop and implement efficient file management workflows and lifecycle processes in Vault

    • Support integration of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Vault to streamline design and project collaboration

    • Assist with Vault upgrades, patching, and system performance testing

    • Provide training and onboarding to users on Vault best practices, standards, and workflows

    • Collaborate with engineers, CAD designers, and IT staff to optimize data management processes

    • Create and maintain documentation for support procedures and troubleshooting

    • Participate in periodic office and project coordination meetings

    Required Qualifications:

    • Associate or Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience

    • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Autodesk Vault and AutoCAD

    • Familiarity with Civil 3D is a plus

    • Understanding of engineering data management, version control, and CAD file structures

    • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

    • Highly organized, task-oriented, and self-motivated

    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with technical teams

    • Familiarity with Windows Server environments and SQL databases is a plus

    Work Environment:

    • Office-based with flexibility for hybrid work arrangements

    • Occasional participation in internal meetings and training sessions
