Data Management - Cloud Engineer

This role will focus on developing secure cloud-based solutions, strengthening enterprise cryptography capabilities, assessing cybersecurity risks, and supporting regulatory and compliance requirements. We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to join a team of experienced engineers working across cryptography, distributed microservices, and full-stack systems.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to join a team of experienced engineers working across cryptography, distributed microservices, and full-stack systems. This role will focus on developing secure cloud-based solutions, strengthening enterprise cryptography capabilities, assessing cybersecurity risks, and supporting regulatory and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to a portfolio of diverse technology projects involving cloud, cybersecurity, cryptography, microservices, and full-stack systems.
• Design and deliver comprehensive cloud-based security solutions in collaboration with Cyber Product Managers and Enterprise Architecture teams.
• Assess security risks related to data confidentiality and integrity, identify vulnerabilities, and evaluate cryptographic and cybersecurity threats.
• Design and implement robust cryptographic solutions, including encryption, hashing, and digital signatures.
• Select appropriate cryptographic primitives and implement secure key management practices.
• Integrate cryptographic solutions into enterprise applications and technology platforms.
• Develop and enhance the enterprise cryptography governance framework, including policies, standards, guidelines, and controls.
• Ensure cryptographic practices support consistency, regulatory compliance, auditability, and enterprise security requirements.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, cybersecurity trends, and cryptographic practices.
• Participate in internal and external technology communities and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Mentor other members of the engineering community and, when required, participate in coding and code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• 4+ years of Cybersecurity experience.
• 2+ years of Cryptography experience.
• 2+ years of Cloud Native technology experience, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• 2+ years of Unix/Linux system administration experience.
• 2+ years of experience with Futurex and Thales HSMs.
• 2+ years of experience with Venafi and DigiCert or other certificate lifecycle management solutions.
• 2+ years of experience with HashiCorp Vault or other secrets management solutions.
• 1+ year of experience with Cortex XSOAR.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years of Cybersecurity Engineering experience.
• 2+ years of coding/scripting experience with one or more of:
