Job Role: Data Lakehouse Platform Engineer
Location: Hybrid in Office 3 days a week.  Preference to Minneapolis MN , Denver CO, Brookfield WI, Atlanta GA, and Irving TX Hub locations
Duration: 4-month contract with possible extension.

Job Description

Data Lakehouse Platform Engineer

• Hands-on experience with data lakehouse patterns (raw, cleaned/enhanced, curated/trusted, consumption), optimized storage formats, metadata-driven ingestion, and analytics-ready data models.
• Enables BI, reporting, customer extracts, data science, and other use cases at enterprise scale.
• Expertise in real time and batch data ingestion architectures (Kafka/Event Hubs, Spark, Delta Lake, etc.), including leading design and management of tools/processes/services for comprehensive data ingestion and integration.
• Experience with enterprise data governance frameworks, including data lineage, cataloging, business glossaries, and data quality controls.
• Ensures end-to-end traceability from source to consumption, improving data trust, auditability, and regulatory compliance.

Technical Skills (or similar/equivalent):

• AWS or Azure Data Platform Services, POSTGRES/ORACLE/DB2, COLLIBRA, DATABRICKS, DELTA LAKE, PYTHON, SNOWFLAKE, ETL TOOLS (SPARK, ETC), CI/CD PIPELINES SUPPORTING DATA LAKEHOUSE
