Position: Data Information Manager Reports To: Director of Technology/Superintendent of Schools Work Year Days: 260 Work Hours: 8-4 Terms of Employment: Per Contract Salary: $60,000-$75,000.00 per year Educational/Training/Experience/License Required:

  • SIS Administration Role
  • State Reporting

Accountability Objective: To provide inclusion and pull out based special education support for students. Responsibilities: Essential functions of the job may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Serve as the District's Student Information System (PowerSchool) Administrator,maintaining all aspects of the database system.
  • Train staff on proper PowerSchool data entry procedures and the use of reporting tools.

Required Qualifications:

  • Student Information System experience
  • MA DESE Security Portal / Reporting System
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and relational database technologies (MS SQL)
  • Data extraction, reporting, and analysis tools
  • Work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while managing multiple projects
  • Be detail-oriented and work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment
  • Communicate clearly both orally and in writing
  • Maintain confidentiality of staff and student records
  • Interact effectively with school staff, administrators, parents, vendors and MA DESE

Desired Qualifications: Knowledge of Student Information Systems such as Infinite Campus, Aspen or PowerSchool

  • Able to work within deadline schedules and able to develop project timelines while communicating timelines and deadlines to appropriate parties
  • Experience operating technology based programs that are interconnected and relied on by individuals and organizations.
  • 5-10 Years of experience with data base systems, school and educational database preferred
  • Able to work independently to resolve critical data issues
  • Able to communicate effectively to school administrators regarding needs of schools
  • Experience with training adults on technology applications
