1. Data Governance Specialist (US Citizenship required for this position):

Gcom is looking for Data Governance Specialist to help monitor intake queues and the shared drive for incoming products scheduled for issuance each day
Maintain the Master Reports List using multiple sources
Coordinate with Publishing, Congressional Relations, and General Counsel on product issue dates and discrepancies
Create and populate product records in the product system for all standard audit products, legal products, and special publications
Attach all required related and supporting files to each record
Apply product-type-specific SOPs for Testimonies, High-Risk Series, Interactive Graphics, Infographics, Videos, and Podcasts
Review metadata records for accuracy, completeness, and correct file associations
Provide structured feedback to indexers and resolve data discrepancies
Contact Publishing, OPA, or product teams to resolve questions arising during QA
Monitor and action ServiceNow tickets daily; create and close
Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust requiring U.S. Citizenship
Experience with metadata management, digital asset management, or library/information science workflows
Demonstrated ability to work in deadline-driven environments with multiple concurrent priorities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Strong attention to detail -- metadata accuracy directly affects Congressional distribution and public search results
Clear written communication skills for coordinating across Publishing, Congressional Relations, Legal, and Web Operations teams
Desired:
Familiarity with publishing systems: PMR, BDE, IDBM, DocDB, ServiceNow
Understanding of federal publishing product types (audit reports, testimonies, legal decisions, special publications)
Experience with taxonomy or indexing (subject terms, contributors, organizations, identifiers)
Exposure to automation tools or scripting for metadata processing or PDF optimization
