Job Title: Data Entry Technician

About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Technician to join our team in the engineering sector. In this role, you will contribute to accurately coding, indexing, and uploading technical assets into our RedEye EDMS, ensuring files are properly assigned metadata, version-controlled, and coded based on their file types and project specs.
Responsibilities
- Interpret engineering blueprints and technical reports such as commissioning reports, O&M manuals, and testing data.
- Accurately code, index, and upload technical assets into the RedEye EDMS.
- Ensure files are properly assigned metadata, version-controlled, and coded based on their file types and project specs.
- Collaborate with project managers, CAD drafters, and engineers to resolve missing metadata, document discrepancies, or indexing questions.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in data entry or document entry in an engineering, utility, or construction environment.
- High School Diploma.
- Hands-on experience or highly transferable proficiency utilizing RedEye DMS or a highly comparable engineering data environment.
- Strong comfort level working with engineering file formats (PDF, DWG, 3D files) and common productivity suites like Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Bluebeam Revu.

- Rapid, highly precise data entry skills with an analytical mind for detecting layout, structural, or filing inconsistencies.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of processing repetitive data workflows with consistent quality.
