Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of our client, a Phoenix-area healthcare administrator, for a Remote Data Entry & Processing Associate. Responsibilities
- Enter and update patient, provider, and administrative data into internal systems and databases
- Verify accuracy and completeness of incoming records before processing
- Review and correct data discrepancies, duplicates, and formatting errors
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive healthcare information in line with HIPAA standards
- Process incoming documentation such as claims, intake forms, and referrals
- Organize and file digital records for easy retrieval by internal teams
- Communicate with internal departments to resolve missing or unclear information
- Meet daily and weekly data processing quotas while maintaining quality standards
- Generate basic reports summarizing data entry volume and error rates
- Support ad hoc administrative and clerical projects as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required, associate degree a plus
- Prior data entry, clerical, or administrative experience preferred
- Strong typing speed and accuracy, minimum 50 WPM preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Comfort learning new software platforms and databases quickly
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time in a remote setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with healthcare terminology or HIPAA guidelines a plus
