Responsibilities
Perform duties assigned by the Data Entry Manager
Answer phones and respond to orders, re-orders and general customer inquiries
Enter new orders for staff pharmacist review
Maintain up-to-date, accurate customer information
Generate labels for dispensing
Answer phones and respond to order inquiries
Clarify orders as needed
Handle and resolve client complaints and inquiries in a timely manner
Triage incoming faxes by facility/department and in accordance with cutoff times
Qualifications
Licensed Pharmacy Technician
Previous experience in pharmacy
LTC pharmacy experience preferred
Knowledge of brand name and generic medications
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Moderate to advanced computer skills required
Great telephone etiquette a must
Frameworks / ECM knowledge a plus
High school diploma or equivalent
