Data Entry Clerk / Insurance Certificate Specialist I

Location: Remote (Florida Residents Only)

Pay Rate: $18.50/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST

Job Type: Full-Time Contract

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk / Insurance Certificate Specialist to support commercial insurance operations in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. This role involves processing insurance certificates, managing data, reviewing documentation, and providing professional support to internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, accurate, comfortable working with large volumes of data, and capable of balancing multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Process commercial insurance certificates and policy requests
• Enter, update, and maintain accurate data records
• Review and interpret client requirements and insurance documentation
• Provide professional communication and support to clients and internal teams
• Manage multiple priorities while meeting productivity and accuracy expectations
• Utilize Excel and other business applications to track and maintain information
• Serve as a resource for policy-related questions and requests
• Ensure all work is completed with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Qualifications

• Experience in data entry and data management
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work across multiple systems and applications simultaneously
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Prior commercial insurance experience is highly preferred

Education

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or
• High School Diploma/GED with relevant experience
