    Position Overview

    We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk Specialist to join our remote team. This entry-level role focuses on entering, reviewing, updating, and maintaining information across company databases, spreadsheets, digital records, and internal systems.

    The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, comfortable using computers, and able to complete structured assignments independently while meeting deadlines.

    Key Responsibilities

    Data Entry & Processing

    • Enter information into databases, spreadsheets, and internal systems.

    • Transfer data from approved forms, documents, and source materials.

    • Update existing records with new or corrected information.

    • Review entries for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

    • Follow established data-entry standards and procedures.

    • Process routine data-entry assignments.

    • Identify duplicate, missing, outdated, or incorrect information.

    • Complete assigned work within established deadlines.

    Data Verification & Quality Control

    • Compare entered information with approved source documents.

    • Perform routine accuracy and completeness checks.

    • Identify errors, inconsistencies, and missing information.

    • Verify record details according to established procedures.

    • Make authorized corrections when necessary.

    • Flag unresolved discrepancies for additional review.

    • Help maintain accurate and reliable company data.

    Records & Document Management

    • Maintain organized electronic records and files.

    • Upload, label, categorize, and archive documents.

    • Follow established file-naming and storage procedures.

    • Review documents for completeness.

    • Maintain basic record indexes and tracking logs.

    • Retrieve authorized information when requested.

    • Organize digital forms, templates, and reference materials.

    • Protect confidential and sensitive information.

    Administrative & Clerical Support

    • Prepare and update spreadsheets, lists, forms, and trackers.

    • Maintain routine administrative logs.

    • Process basic internal requests.

    • Organize shared folders and digital resources.

    • Route documents to appropriate team members.

    • Assist with general clerical assignments as needed.

    • Support routine administrative projects.

    Task & Workflow Tracking

    • Track assignments, deadlines, and pending requests.

    • Update workflow and processing trackers.

    • Monitor outstanding data-entry tasks.

    • Follow up on assigned action items.

    • Compile approved information for basic reports.

    • Provide progress updates when requested.

    • Maintain an organized daily workload.

    Remote Team Communication

    • Communicate professionally through email, chat, and virtual meetings.

    • Respond to routine internal inquiries.

    • Coordinate information with team members.
