About the Role:Pain and Disability Institute PC in Jersey City, NJ is looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our dedicated healthcare team. This is a great opportunity to play a vital behind-the-scenes role in a fast-paced medical environment where accuracy and efficiency truly matter.
Responsibilities:- Accurately enter and update patient and clinical data into electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Verify and review data for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with office standards
- Maintain and organize digital and physical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Process and manage medical forms, insurance documents, and patient intake information
- Collaborate with administrative and clinical staff to ensure timely data processing
- Identify and correct data discrepancies or errors promptly
- Support general office administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:- High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree or relevant coursework preferred
- Prior data entry experience, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and data management software
- Strong typing speed and accuracy with keen attention to detail
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and handling confidential patient information
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
