Data Entry Specialist
Location: Burlington, NC
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Position Type: Full-Time/Temporary | In Office
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our client in Burlington, NC. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, has excellent attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced office environment. The primary focus of this role is entering and maintaining accurate information within company systems while providing support to the Accounts Payable department.
Responsibilities
- Accurately enter data into Oracle and other internal systems
- Scan and upload invoices and supporting documents into the document management system
- Verify information for accuracy and completeness
- Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail
- Assist with reconciling vendor statements and researching discrepancies
- Maintain organized electronic records and documentation
- Provide general administrative support to the Accounts Payable team as needed
Qualifications
- Previous data entry experience required
- Strong 10-key skills with excellent speed and accuracy
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of accounting or accounts payable is a plus
- Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems is preferred but not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
