Data Entry Clerk Responsibilities
The Data Entry Clerk will provide administrative and data entry support, ensuring information is accurately entered, organized, reviewed, and maintained.
Key responsibilities include:
- Perform general data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy.
- Enter and update information in computer systems, spreadsheets, and documents.
- Collect, organize, and maintain source documents.
- Review information and verify data for accuracy and completeness.
- Update documents and records as needed.
- Perform basic data analysis and information review.
- Follow established instructions, procedures, and workflows.
- Maintain organized files and documentation.
- Identify discrepancies or missing information and bring them to the appropriate team member's attention.
- Provide general administrative support as assigned.
Required Skills
- Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to follow directions and established procedures.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills — Excel is the most important Microsoft Office skill for this position.

Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–3 years of relevant work experience preferred.
