Job Summary
The Director of EEO and Title IX Compliance is responsible for fostering a culture of compliance and awareness while ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations and institutional policies. This includes managing sensitive claims of sexual misconduct, discrimination, harassment, and accessibility or accommodation needs with empathy and professionalism. Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), the Director navigates complex investigations, institutional responsibilities, and compliance efforts while collaborating with University leadership to align EEO and Title IX strategies with the institution's goals. This position also develops and delivers education and training programs that promote compliance and a respectful environment.
Supervision Exercised
This position may have one or more full-time direct reports and may also manage or direct other staff or student workers as needed. The position has extensive relationships with Senior HR Business Partners, HR staff, and with leaders and stakeholders in all Colleges and Divisions.

Qualifications
Incumbents must possess proven ability to effectively work with a culturally, linguistically, and ethnically diverse faculty, staff, and students. They are expected to have excellent oral and written communication skills along with strong Information technology literacy skills such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams etc.). Work Environment
Incumbents typically perform their work in offices on site at the university. The work involves extensive use of personal computers, but does not, normally, involve any significant physical effort. Reasonable accommodation will be made for incumbents and candidates with physical limitations.
