Job Title: Data Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to ensure reliable data flow and efficient data processing for business insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines (ETL/ELT processes)
• Build and optimize data architectures, databases, and data lakes
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and availability across systems
• Integrate data from multiple sources (APIs, databases, streaming systems)
• Develop and maintain data models for analytics and reporting
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data pipeline performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements
• Implement data security and governance best practices
• Automate data workflows and processes

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 2 6 years of experience in data engineering or related roles
• Strong programming skills in Python / Java / Scala
• Experience with SQL and database technologies (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools and data pipeline frameworks
• Knowledge of big data technologies like Apache Spark, Hadoop
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS / Azure / GCP
• Familiarity with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
• Understanding of distributed systems and data architecture

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow
• Knowledge of streaming technologies (Kafka, Flink)
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in data modeling and schema design
• Certification in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
