Primary responsibilities include:
Build new data driven capabilities in support of internal initiatives and business requirements
Design and build Data Engineering solutions
Assess the capacity and scalability of the databases
Analyze database performance, optimize database access and provide advice to application developers
Build data systems and pipelines
Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability
Review and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources
Develop integration solutions that fit within the larger data integration strategy and initiatives
Reverse-engineer and troubleshoot existing Batch implementations
Proactively identify any problems or bottle-necks and effectively apply innovative yet practical solutions and fixes
Stay current with technology trends and apply this knowledge to help address business needs
Requirements:
At least 7 years of progressive and experience in Informatica Cloud, Informatica Data Quality and Snowflake
Deep understanding of database concepts
Ability to design, develop and implement Batch/connectors from scratch
Excellent knowledge and experience of data warehouse and data modelling
Ability to create transformations and mappings with minimal supervision
Excellent project management skills and a positive attitude
Able to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards
Excellent problem-solving skills
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to translate technical information in order to cater to non-technical audiences
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education
