About the Role
Join a growing data engineering team as we build a modern, enterprise-grade data platform on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). We are seeking two intermediate Data Engineers passionate about designing scalable ELT pipelines, transforming data processes, and driving innovation. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust ELT pipelines using GCP Composer, Dataflow, and BigQuery.
- Implement scalable data ingestion and transformation solutions in a cloud-native environment.
- Collaborate with architects, analysts, and senior engineers to enhance the enterprise data platform.
- Ensure high data quality, pipeline performance, and scalability.
- Provide guidance and feedback to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Translate business and technical requirements into stable, supportable software solutions.
- Contribute to the adoption of standardized data engineering practices and documentation.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience; High School Diploma/GED required.
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience building data solutions in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Expertise in Composer, Dataflow, and BigQuery.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in healthcare or PBM industries.
- Advanced SQL skills and experience in data warehousing.
- Familiarity with data modeling and dimensional design.
- Exposure to regulatory environments (HIPAA, PCI).
- Experience working in Agile or Product Delivery teams.
