Data Engineer

This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys combining hands-on engineering with stakeholder engagement, while building scalable data solutions that support investment research, analytics, and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines, warehouses, and lakehouse environments.
• Develop production-grade Python and SQL solutions for analytics and reporting.
• Create dashboards, applications, and data tools used by investment professionals.
• Partner with business stakeholders to deliver data products and actionable insights.
• Lead cross-functional projects while driving adoption of modern data and AI technologies.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with experience building production data pipelines.
• Experience with cloud and modern data platforms such as AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, Airflow, Dagster, or dbt.
• Proven ability to work directly with business stakeholders and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Interest in financial markets and experience with data visualization, analytics tools, or AI-driven workflows is a plus.
• Must relocate to the San Fran area.
