Seeking for a Data Engineer & Insights Analyst to support the data into valuable insights for government agencies and optimize data architecture for future initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture.
• Design and implement cloud-based data solutions using AWS services.
• Build and maintain data orchestration workflows.
• Assemble large, complex data sets for business needs.
• Engineer environments for advanced analysis and modeling.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts for research support.

Required Qualifications:

• Advanced SQL knowledge and proficiency with relational databases.
• Experience building and optimizing 'big data' pipelines and architectures.
• Proficiency in designing dashboards and reports for diverse users.
• Experience with student-level higher education data.
• Strong analytic skills with unstructured datasets.
• Knowledge of message queuing and stream processing.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.

Must Have Skills:

• 5+ years with AWS cloud-based data services.
• Proficiency in scripting languages: Python, R, Java, C, Scala.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of data modeling techniques.
• Familiarity with data cataloging and metadata management.
• Understanding of data governance and quality frameworks.
