Job Description We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with expertise in DBT and Snowflake to build and optimize modern cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data transformation, data modeling, and analytics engineering. Required Skills - 10+ years of Data Engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.
- Expertise in DBT (Data Build Tool).
- Advanced SQL skills.
- Experience developing ELT/ETL frameworks.
- Strong understanding of dimensional modeling and data warehousing.
- Experience with Python for data processing and automation.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and Agile environments.
Responsibilities - Design and develop scalable data models in Snowflake using DBT.
- Build, maintain, and optimize ELT pipelines.
- Create reusable DBT models, macros, and tests.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and performance.
- Partner with analytics, BI, and business teams to deliver data solutions.
- Troubleshoot and optimize Snowflake workloads.
Preferred Skills - Experience with Airflow or other orchestration tools.
- Knowledge of BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Experience with data cataloging and governance tools.
Nice to Have - Snowflake Certifications.
- DBT Cloud experience.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale data platforms.
