Description

Our client, a growing financial firm in Edison, NJ is looking for a Data Engineer to join the team and grow.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in building and maintaining ingestion.
  • Write SQL and Python scripts for tasks.
  • Run and monitor scheduled jobs.
  • Document pipeline logic and fixes.

Qualifications
  • 1 3 years of experience in data engineering or analytics
  • SQL skills (joins, aggregations, filtering)
  • Python proficiency
  • Understanding of core data concepts
  • Databricks, Spark, and cloud technology experience a plus
  • Familiarity with Git or other version control
  • Any experience with data visualization or BI tools is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Master's degree preferred.
