Location: Minnetonka, MN (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite)

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly versatile Data Engineer with strong Data Modeling and Analytics capabilities who can operate at the intersection of engineering and business insights. This role requires hands-on expertise in building robust ETL pipelines, designing scalable data models, and enabling data-driven decision-making in a healthcare insurance environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable data pipelines and optimized storage solutions for enterprise analytics
• Design and maintain source-to-target mappings ensuring accuracy and traceability across systems
• Build and optimize ETL workflows using Informatica (PowerCenter / IDMC)
• Develop complex SQL / PL-SQL logic for transformation, validation, and reporting
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security across the data lifecycle
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions
• Monitor and enhance performance of ETL jobs and database systems
• Support cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Azure, Kafka preferred)

Data & Analytics Responsibilities

• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends and insights
• Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or Excel
• Automate workflows using Python or R
• Support business intelligence initiatives and data storytelling
• Document data flows, mappings, and governance standards

AI & Advanced Analytics (Preferred)

• Apply machine learning techniques for predictive analytics and automation
• Build and deploy models using tools such as TensorFlow, scikit-learn, PyTorch, or Azure ML
• Enhance analytics capabilities with AI-driven insights and decision support systems

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in Data Engineering & ETL development
• Hands-on expertise with Informatica PowerCenter / IDMC
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Oracle PL/SQL
• Solid understanding of Data Modeling (dimensional & relational)
• Experience in data analysis and reporting
• Domain experience in Healthcare Insurance
