Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer (ETL Developer) with strong expertise in SQL Server, Azure SQL, Python, Databricks, and Apache Spark. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines, database solutions, and cloud-based data platforms while supporting analytics, reporting, and AI/ML initiatives in a healthcare-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize database solutions using SQL Server, Azure SQL, and T-SQL.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for data integration and transformation.
• Build scalable data workflows using Databricks, Apache Spark, Python, and PySpark.
• Implement relational and dimensional data models, including SCD (Slowly Changing Dimensions).
• Improve database performance through query tuning, indexing, and optimization.
• Support AI/ML initiatives by creating data pipelines and feature datasets.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, BI teams, and application developers.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure data quality, governance, and security compliance.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering and ETL Development.
• Strong expertise in SQL Server, Azure SQL, and T-SQL performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Python, Databricks, Apache Spark, and PySpark.
• Experience building and supporting ETL/ELT processes.
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and data architecture.
• Experience working in Azure Cloud environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
