Job Summary
Qualifications:
- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering, data integration, or related roles.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, including complex query development, performance tuning, and large-scale data transformations.
- Strong experience working with SQL Server environments, including database design, optimization, and administration concepts.
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, DTS, Informatica, or comparable platforms.
- Proven experience working within and modernizing legacy data environments, including mainframe or highly customized systems.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze, reverse-engineer, and document undocumented or poorly documented data flows.
- Experience designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and migration strategies
- Strong understanding of data validation, reconciliation, and data quality best practices.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership in ambiguous, complex environments with limited documentation.
Required Skills:
- Strong SQL skills (this is a must - including complex queries, performance tuning, and data transformation).
- Experience working with SQL Server environments.
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools (SSIS, DTS, Informatica, or similar).
- Experience working in and modernizing legacy data environments.
- Ability to work independently in environments with limited documentation.
